About Us

We are an International Church...  There are people from many different nations who have made Preston Elim Church their home.  This has given our Church a broad worldview and a greater heart for world mission.  This is also reflected in the presence of people from the United Kingdom, Poland, Singapore, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, the USA.

We are a Pentecostal Church... We recognise the need for constant empowering by the Holy Spirit to live and witness for God and serve His plans for the world.  We celebrate God and worship Him with contemporary songs as well as classic and historical songs which have been inspired by faith. 

We are a Family Church...  Elim Preston Church is a family and seeks to make people feel at home and accepted.  Whether married, single, young or old we aim to be a family to all.

We are a Teaching Church...  We believe that the Bible is God's Word today.  It teaches us who he is and who we are, what His plans are for humanity and how He wants His children to live.  Preaching and teaching form a central part of our collective worship.

We are an Evangelistic Church...  We aim to spread the GOOD NEWS about Jesus in our community and city through positive relationships and creative evangelistic programmes.
