About Us
Message from the Senior Pastor - Rev Sean Charlesworth
Visitors to our church regularly comment on the very friendly welcome they receive. We are an informal and warm group and people are free to be themselves. If you are not used to church, we will be pleased to explain anything that puzzles you about our meetings.
The Church started in 1995 through a series of meetings, eventually opening as a church in St Thomas Centre (then owned by the Charity 'Age Concern') under Rev Robert Clarke who now ministers in Blackburn. In 1998 Rev Philip Woods was appointed Pastor of the Church and through his leadership, the 18th century St Thomas Centre was purchased and restored to an official place of worship. In June 2002, I started my Pastorate at the Church with my wife Julia. Towards the end of 2003 Rev Philip Woods moved to Wigan Elim church and I became the Senior Pastor of the church in Preston.
I work with a gifted and supportive leadership team who are always available to speak to you and help with your enquiries.
